Appellate Practice - Appellate Law is comprised of the rules and practices by which higher courts review lower court judgments after a decision is rendered in a civil or criminal trial.
Appellate law also deals with issues such as posting and challenging appellate bonds, writs of habeas corpus , writs of execution, writs of restitution; other types of discretionary relief, post-verdict motions, and other matters.
